We are seeking an outstanding practitioner to be our south east Cluster Lead English Teacher to work across our two academies in Brighton and one in London and to support our mathematics departmental leads and mathematics teachers in improving outcomes for our students at every key stage.

Brighton Aldridge Community Academy studentsAll three schools, Brighton Aldridge Community Academy, Portslade Aldridge Community Academy and Duke’s Aldridge Academy are graded as good schools by Ofsted. We are seeking a dedicated, flexible and dynamic Lead Teacher to work with subject leads and class teachers to improve achievement with immediate impact in 2018 outcomes at KS2, GCSE and A-Level.

The Cluster Lead post is a part-time 0.4 role. In the event that the successful candidate is an existing member of staff at one of the three schools covered they will continue to teach 0.6 in one of the schools, and 0.4 across the three schools. We offer a flexible approach to enable the most appropriate arrangements to ensure that the post holder can support the school subject leads and teams in driving up standards. Line management for the Cluster Lead duties will be to the Executive Principal of our south east.

The posts are temporary until 31 August 2019 and renewal of contract will be subject to review.
