Role: Governance Support Officer / PA to Executive Principal – South East Cluster

Salary: £23k-£26k (Pro rata £10,880 - £12,300) per annum depending on skills and experience. Although this may increase for an exceptional, highly experienced candidate.

Contract type: 21 hours per week term time only plus two weeks. Exact hours will be agreed with the successful candidate but the role does involve some evening work approximately twice a month.
We are seeking a suitably experienced Governance Support Officer to work with local governing committees at our two academies in Brighton and to provide administrative support to the South East Executive Principal.

The purpose of the role is to:
- Provide administrative support to Local Governing Committee including organising meetings, prepare draft agendas and take accurate Minutes
- Act in the role of adviser to local governors and Principals on governance matters
- Provide high level administrative support to the Executive Principal
