GCSE Results day 2022: Darwen Vale School students celebrate success
Darwen Vale High School celebrates unprecedented success in this year’s GCSE results.
In many of the subjects, the class of 2022 has outperformed the class of 2019, the last time any external examinations were sat.
Subjects performing particularly well were English and Mathematics where 77 percent of students achieved a grade 4 or above in English and 73 percent achieved the threshold in Mathematics, both ahead of the 2019 national pass rate.
